As recorded by the Count Basie Orchestra on their Basie Big Band album, this easy swing excursion for proficient players has all the ingredients you’d expect from a classic Basie chart — tasteful piano fills, lots of solid ensemble work, and a full-length solo for trumpet (as written or ad lib). Rhythm section parts are partially notated with chords cued. Standard instrumentation with 1st Alto Sax doubling on flute and trumpets double on flugelhorn.
