After the chaos of the recording sessions for the Beatles’ last two late ’60s records, Paul suggested to producer George Martin that they record an album like they used to earlier in their career, with all band members present. The result of this effort was one of the finest rock albums ever created. Celebrating the album’s recent 50th anniversary, our medley includes “Something, Here Comes the Sun, Come Together, Octopus’s Garden, Maxwell’s Silver Hammer, She Came Through the Bathroom Window” and “The End.”
